The Stigma Index for People Living with HIV/AIDS is a tool used to detect and measure changing trends in relation to HIV-related stigma and discrimination, from the perspective of people living with HIV and AIDS. The research is carried out in seven Brazilian capitals and conducted by the NGO Gestos, with support from the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS).
